Located admist the world renowned wine district of Coonawarra, Ey Estate is a boutique winery with it's history stretching back over 95 years.
The first plot of vines were planted in 1989 after previously using the land for their mixed farming business which began in 1908.
Originally selling the fruit to Southcorp Wines, the Ey family now set aside the best fruit for the Ey Estate label. To ensure that the quality is of the highest order, the family employed the services of Pat Tocaciu, who has been producing award winning wines for well over twenty five years.
The philosophy behind Ey Estate is to let the wines speak for themselves. We pick the grapes in the best conditions and provide the necessary elements to enhance the natural fruit characters.
Whilst new French Oak barrels are used, there is a deliberate policy to keep the wines in balance. We produce fine tuned, sophisticated wines with plenty of depth as well as finesse and length.
